Delta Center is one of the premiere sports venues in Salt Lake City, providing guests an indoor, vibrant arena for concerts and Utah Jazz basketball along with other sports and activities. The venue was subsequently renamed Vivint Smart Home Arena, shortened to Vivint Arena in early 2021, and renamed Delta Center in 2023. The venue hosted the short track speed skating and figure skating events for the 2002 Winter Olympics, during which it was known as the Salt Lake Ice Center. In addition to the Utah Jazz, the former Delta Center has been the home of the Utah Starzz of the WNBA as well as AFL and IHL teams. Previous concerts at Delta Center include Metallica, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Joel, Elton John and Lady Gaga, among others.
