Winters tend to be cold and snowy, with January, the coolest month, averaging at 30.4 °F (-0.9 °C); however, lows may reach 0 °F (-18 °C) several times a year.

On Street Parking The City of Cincinnati has approximately 1,400 "card & coin" parking meters around Downtown. For easier payment, the meters accept credit/debit cards. You can still use nickels, dimes, quarters and golden dollars. They're mounted on the same post as the traditional coin-only meters and still give you the first 10 minutes free.

Downtown parking meters are enforced Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meters are not enforced on Sundays or holidays.
